ARGO Development Studio was involved in providing BIM consultancy services in the construction of Bermuda L.F. Wade International Airport. Construction of a new, state-of-the-art passenger terminal officially began at Bermuda’s L.F. Wade International Airport in March 2017, marking the beginning of a multimillion-dollar redevelopment project. The new passenger terminal was constructed on the airport property away from the existing terminal to enable uninterrupted airport operations during the construction phase.
The 277,300 square feet passenger facility features state-of-the-art technologies and design elements. It offers improved passenger flow, latest facilities and additional retail offerings that will be sufficient to serve the current and the future needs of the airport. The new terminal features a 5,700 square feet pre-security concession area, 16,940 square feet of US departures concession and lounge space, 1,080 square feet of arrivals duty-free area and 20,850 square feet of international departures concession and lounge space.
