Perched on a mountain-top overlooking Lough Allen, surrounded by the breathtaking Iron mountains allowing this unspoiled part of the Irish country- side, unchanged for centuries, to be truly appreciated. This schoolhouse, constructed at the turn of the century, was falling to ruin when rescued, restored and reinvented. Passive house standards were embraced in transforming this piece of local history into 21st century luxury living.
